About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize cloud migration projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, identify dependencies, and manage resource allocation across distributed teams.
• Manage the migration process, overseeing infrastructure setup, data transfer, application deployment, and testing.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud migration, including security, performance, and cost optimization.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among geographically dispersed project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Ensure adherence to cloud best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct post-migration reviews, document lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement in migration processes.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular, clear updates on project progress and key metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years specifically focused on cloud computing projects (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven experience managing complex, large-scale cloud migration projects from initiation to completion.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, services, and migration strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies is essential.
• Proficiency in project management tools and collaboration platforms suitable for remote work.
