Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructures across AWS, Azure, and GCP in a fully remote environment.

You will lead cloud strategy, governance, migrations, and cost optimization while mentoring engineers and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and data management principles in a cloud context.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
