Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering technology-focused projects within large enterprise PMOs.
• Strong understanding of IT project and programme governance, including:
• Demand management
• Project reporting
• Change control
• Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Data governance
• Solid technical background with the ability to engage with architects, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology projects and programmes.
• Drive project planning, resource allocation, prioritisation, scheduling, and execution.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, project governance, and reporting requirements.
• Manage demand intake, change control processes, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and project planning workshops with business and technical teams.
• Coordinate delivery across Agile and Waterfall project environments.
• Work closely with architecture, data governance, and technical teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Provide regular project status updates, executive reporting, and governance documentation.

Senior Technical Project Manager - 6 Month Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role requires a strong project management professional who is comfortable operating within an established PMO, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving the successful delivery of technology-enabled business change.

You will work closely with enterprise and solution architects, technical teams, business analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to plan, govern, and execute strategic projects across the retail technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology projects and programmes.
• Drive project planning, resource allocation, prioritisation, scheduling, and execution.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, project governance, and reporting requirements.
