About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing technology services firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology integration and business transformation initiatives in their Randburg operations. This role is crucial for overseeing the successful implementation of new IT systems, digital transformation projects, and enterprise-wide process changes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with exceptional project management skills, adept at managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to achieve strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of technology integration and digital transformation projects, from initiation through to successful deployment and adoption.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), quality standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the selection and management of technology vendors and implementation partners.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal IT teams, business units, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Manage project budgets and track financial performance against forecasts.
• Ensure seamless integration of new technologies with existing systems and business processes.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify lessons learned for future initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in project management, with a substantial focus (5+ years) on IT system integration, digital transformation, or enterprise-level technology projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex technology projects with budgets exceeding R70 million.
• Strong understanding of various IT domains, including software development, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience within the Gauteng technology landscape is advantageous.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly preferred.
