Job summary

dhk Architects is seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join its vibrant interiors team in Cape Town. You will manage projects from inception to handover, focusing on documentation and feasibility for hospitality, retail, and commercial spaces.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of corporate interior design experience, strong AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit skills, excellent English communication, and a collaborative mindset. A tertiary interior design qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate interior design and space planning.
• Construction knowledge and feasibility understanding.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Eligible to work in South Africa with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of projects from inception to handover.
• Technical design development in line with regulations.
• Generating technical and construction documentation packages.
• Liaising with suppliers, site and project manager.
• Facilitating project handovers and supporting business growth
