dhk Interior Design in Cape Town is seeking a senior designer to deliver interior design projects from concept development through to construction management. You will be a detailed, all‑round professional with strong communication skills, presenting clear ideas to clients and colleagues.

You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with suppliers and site teams, and ensure designs meet budget, regulations and feasibility while supporting business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering interior design projects from concept to construction.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.
• Excellent budgeting and numerical skills.
• Extensive knowledge of local supplier market and service delivery in South Africa.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from inception to handover.
• Assess client requirements and develop briefs.
• Present concepts to clients and colleagues.
• Develop designs to align with budget and regulations.
• Generate technical and construction documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, site coordinators and project managers.
• Facilitate project handovers.
• Support growth and development of the business.
