Job summary

RecruitMyMom is working with an award-winning corporate interior design and build firm in Cape Town to hire a Senior Interior Designer who will lead major workspace projects from concept through to completion.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of professional interior design experience, with at least 5 years in corporate office design, and must be hands-on with Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape and Twinmotion, plus strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Accredited interior design qualification (e.g., BA in Interior Design) is essential.
• 8–10 years of professional interior design experience, with at least 5 years in corporate office design and commercial fit-outs.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, and Twinmotion is mandatory.
• Experience with AI tools for design enhancement, workflow optimization, or rendering is a major advantage.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design Execution: Lead comprehensive workplace design projects, producing precise conceptual work, detailed drawing packages, technical layouts, and high-end renderings.
• Client Engagement & Presentations: Act as the primary design lead for client engagements, pitching innovative concepts and translating executive visions into environments.
• Team Leadership & Delegation: Inspire, direct, and mentor junior designers, delegating workloads while maintaining design quality across projects.
• Deadline & Delivery Control: Drive projects forward with energy, ensuring alignment with deadlines, budgets, and client specifications.
