Qualifications

• The role requires a minimum of 5 years as Technical Artist focusing on 3D animation and VFX.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and MEL for pipeline tools.
• Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, and Blender with experience in real-time engines.
• Solid understanding of PBR workflows and shader creation.
• Portfolio demonstrating technical art, tool development, and optimized assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain tools, scripts, and plugins to optimize 3D art and VFX pipelines (e.g., Python, MEL).
• Create and optimize shaders, materials, and textures for high-fidelity 3D assets.
• Assist animators and modelers with rigging and asset integration into the game engine or rendering pipeline.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to 3D assets, shaders, and pipeline tools.
• Collaborate with art directors, leads, and production management to define technical requirements for assets.
• Research and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and visual quality.
• Optimize assets for real-time rendering or offline rendering.
• Provide technical support and training to the art team.
• Document best practices for asset creation and pipeline workflows.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all 3D assets and VFX elements.
