Placements24 is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst in Centurion, Gauteng, to optimize procurement, logistics, inventory, and demand planning. The role focuses on analyzing complex data, developing strategic insights, and implementing improvements across the supply chain to drive cost savings and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, with strong skills in Excel, SQL, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Logistics, IE, Business Admin).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis or similar role in an industrial setting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel (advanced), SQL, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and SCM software; solid understanding of inventory, logistics, procurement, and demand planning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for supply chain operations; monitor and report findings.
• Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing holding costs and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve inbound and outbound logistics.
• Support demand forecasting by analyzing historical data and market trends.
• Evaluate and improve procurement strategies and processes.
• Model supply chain scenarios using advanced analytics to support decisions.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on performance and recommendations.
• Assist in implementing supply chain technologies and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with supply chain regulations and best practices.
