Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive subsea engineering experience, with offshore project background.
• Expertise in subsea equipment design, manufacturing, installation, and operation (trees, manifolds, RPTs, SURF).
• Strong understanding of subsea hydraulics, controls, and structural integrity.
• Knowledge of materials science and corrosion in subsea environments.
• Experience with subsea project management and execution.
• Proficiency in relevant subsea engineering software and analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively on-site and potentially offshore.

About the Role

Our client, a major international energy company with significant offshore operations, is seeking a Senior Subsea Production Engineer to join their team in East London, Eastern Cape, ZA . This position requires on-site presence to support critical offshore projects and operations. The Senior Subsea Production Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of subsea production systems, including trees, manifolds, pipelines, and associated equipment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and efficiency of our subsea assets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of subsea engineering principles, materials, fluid dynamics, and project management within the demanding Oil & Gas offshore environment. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver successful subsea developments.
