The role requires a strong background in subsea hardware and systems, with hands-on experience in project execution, vendor liaison, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of subsea engineering experience focused on project execution in Oil & Gas.
• Experience designing, procuring and installing subsea production systems.
• In-depth knowledge of subsea hardware (XT, SCM, PLETs, PLEMs).
• Familiarity with API, DNV standards and industry codes.
• Strong project management and technical leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Hybrid work model balancing Polokwane on-site with remote responsibilities.
• Experience with subsea simulation software is an advantage.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent offshore energy developer, is seeking an experienced Senior Subsea Engineer to join their expanding operations in Polokwane, Limpopo. This role is central to the successful design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of subsea production systems. You will manage the technical aspects of subsea projects, ensuring they meet stringent performance, safety, and cost requirements. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for effective collaboration within the Polokwane office and the flexibility of remote work for detailed analysis and documentation.
