Placements24 seeks a Senior Subsea Engineer to join our client’s team in Benoni. You will lead design, installation, and operation of subsea production systems, ensuring integrity and reliability while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on offshore projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of subsea engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
In-depth knowledge of subsea production systems and installation methods.
Experience with subsea software and simulation tools.
Strong project management and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead the conceptual design, detailed engineering, and procurement of subsea equipment, including trees, manifolds, and umbilical systems.
Develop and execute subsea installation procedures and campaigns, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Provide technical support for operation and maintenance of subsea production systems.
Manage interfaces between subsea systems, vessels, and topside facilities.
Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with project managers, fabrication teams, and clients to ensure project delivery.
