Boardroom Appointments invites applications for a Senior Structural Engineer. The role focuses on structural design for buildings and water-retaining structures, project delivery, and direct client coordination. The incumbent will mentor junior staff and ensure quality across deliverables within the unit.

The position emphasises collaboration, adherence to design codes, and proactive communication with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment in the Western Cape.

Formación

• BSc. or BEng. Civil Engineering required.
• ECSA PrEng registration mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.
• Experience with buildings, reservoirs, tanks, infra.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English; strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design structural systems for buildings, reservoirs, tanks, and public infrastructure.
• Lead project delivery and ensure timelines, quality and deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and drafters.
• Engage with clients and consultants directly.
• Oversee tender documentation and technical reporting.
