Job summary

RPO Recruitment’s Mossel Bay client seeks a Structural Technician/Technologist/Engineer to join their team. You will contribute to structural design, perform condition assessments, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders on diverse projects. A Civil Engineering degree and Afrikaans proficiency are required, with ECSA registration preferred and Prokon/AutoCAD/MS Project skills valued. A valid license and transport are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level civil engineering degree required (BSc/BEng or BTech).
• Afrikaans proficiency is required and essential for this role.
• ECSA registration (Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech.Eng) is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for building and infrastructure projects.
• Perform condition assessments on existing structures and report findings.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and satisfy stakeholders on project milestones.
• Coordinate with internal and external colleagues to ensure design integrity and timely delivery.
