Placements24 in Mossel Bay is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to contribute to major construction projects. This hybrid role combines on-site inspections with remote design work, ensuring structural integrity and safety, in collaboration with architects, PMs and construction teams.

The ideal candidate has a degree in structural/civil engineering, professional registration (Pr Eng with ECSA), strong design and analysis experience, and proficiency with SAP2000, Etabs, Revit Structure and CAD

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client requires a skilled and analytical Structural Engineer to contribute to significant construction projects in the Mossel Bay area. This hybrid position requires the ability to conduct on-site inspections and analysis, as well as perform detailed design work and calculations remotely. You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of buildings and infrastructure, collaborating closely with architects, project managers, and construction teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail in structural design and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and oversee the implementation of structural components for various construction projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for structural systems.
