Job summary

C&D Consulting invites a Senior Structural Engineer to lead planning, analysis, design, and delivery of diverse structural projects. The role requires independence, professional registration with ECSA, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate technical deliverables, and ensure compliance with codes and project requirements from concept to close-out, including construction support and site investigations.

Qualifications

• Professional registration as Pr Eng with ECSA is required.
• Ten years' experience post-graduation in a consulting engineering environment.
• Experience managing structural engineering projects and deliverables.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience with construction monitoring and site issue resolution.
• Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff.
• Experience across infrastructure, commercial, industrial, residential, mining, or public-sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyse, design, document and deliver structural engineering projects.
• Independently undertake assignments and manage technical deliverables.
• Liaise with clients and other professionals to provide compliant engineering solutions.
• Contribute from concept through detailed design, construction documentation, and close-out.
