Job summary

We require ECSA registration and at least five years of relevant experience, with proven ability to manage multiple projects, produce reports, and liaise with clients. The role focuses on safety, standards, and delivery within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must have ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer or Technologist.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant structural engineering or technologist experience (planning, design, monitoring, reporting).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, design principles and engineering standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in project management and report writing.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend project briefs and assist with specifications.
• Prepare feasibility studies and technical reports.
• Prepare designs and drawings.
• Liaise with clients and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate project meetings and progress reports.
• Monitor contractors and site engineers on site.
• Develop and review structural designs for safety and compliance.
• Lead project planning, scheduling and execution.
• Oversee construction activities and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Conduct site inspections and structural assessments.
• Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
