Job summary

Nicholas O’Dwyer seeks a seasoned Structural Engineer to join the Infrastructure Department and support major civil projects across Ireland and the UK. You will lead design and delivery across the full lifecycle, from feasibility to handover, and contribute to project success and technical excellence.

The role requires a strong Structural Engineering background, proficiency with Eurocodes/BS standards, and ability to mentor junior staff while collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or working toward chartership with professional body.
• 7+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate structural design from feasibility to construction support.
• Develop safe and buildable solutions for RC, steel, masonry and foundations.
• Oversee design drawings, specs, reports and tender docs.
• Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical and environmental teams.
• Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, BS and client standards; manage risks and budgets.
• Mentor engineers and technicians and maintain high quality standards.
