Nicholas O'Dwyer Ltd seeks a Project Engineer – Wastewater to support the technical delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects. You will work across Ireland, the UK, and international markets, contributing to a broad range of challenging projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and 5+ years in wastewater engineering, with strong design and regulatory knowledge, plus capability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and registration where required.
• 5+ years of wastewater engineering experience including feasibility and design.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater principles, standards and regulations.
• Experience with procurement, contract administration and cost control.
• Ability to manage priorities, communicate clearly and work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility, route and site selections and concept reports.
• Develop detailed designs, drawings, calculations and specs.
• Prepare contract documents and technical specifications for works.
• Lead tender evaluations and procurement processes.
• Ensure regulatory approvals, planning permissions and land access.
• Administer construction stage contracts and monitor progress.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets and schedules.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
• Conduct site visits, monitor quality and compliance with specs.
