Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer to lead major infrastructure projects in Rustenburg. The role oversees design and analysis of structural components, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with standards.

You will guide a team of engineers and project managers to deliver robust solutions in North West. Applicants should have a Pr Eng or eligibility, 8+ years in structural engineering, and fluency with SAP2000/ETABS and Revit Structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA or eligibility for registration.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in structural engineering with a focus on infrastructure.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, Revit Structure).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for infrastructure projects (bridges, buildings, utilities).
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations using industry software.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers and project teams during design and construction.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and verify adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to meet project objectives.
