Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead façade design on iconic international projects in a fully remote setup. You will steer structural analysis, wind and seismic considerations, and material performance for building envelopes.

Collaborate with architects and fabricators worldwide, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovative, sustainable façade solutions while ensuring code compliance and constructability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering with façade focus.
• PE license or international equivalent preferred.
• 9+ years in façade structural engineering.
• Experience with FEA of complex geometries.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, RISA and façade-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of curtain walls, cladding, and enclosures.
• Perform advanced calculations for wind, seismic, thermal, and other loads.
• Develop structural drawings, specifications, and connection details for façade elements.
• Collaborate with architects and fabricators to meet aesthetics and structural integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers remotely and guide project teams.
• Contribute to innovation and research in façade engineering.
