Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in East London, Eastern Cape. Lead structural design of commercial, industrial and residential projects, from concept through construction. Hybrid work with on-site visits required for inspections.

Apply expertise in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 and Prokon, ensure code compliance (SANS 10160/10162), mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with architects, developers and contractors. PrEng registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering with Structural specialization.
• PrEng registration with ECSA is essential.
• Minimum 7 years of structural engineering design experience for buildings.
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or Prokon.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of commercial, industrial and residential building projects.
• Develop detailed structural calculations, drawings and specifications.
