Placements24 is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer in East London, Eastern Cape, focused on structural and building design. You will design, analyze, and coordinate projects, ensuring safety and compliance with SANS.

You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver diverse building projects, applying expertise in reinforced concrete and steel design, and using Prokon, Etabs, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) designation required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and building projects.
• Proven experience with reinforced concrete and steel structure design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (Prokon, Etabs) and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of structural systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
• Preparation of detailed structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
