Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Stress Analyst for its Vereeniging facility. You will perform advanced structural analysis to ensure integrity, safety and performance of mechanical designs under various loads, collaborating with design engineers to optimize components.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in structural analysis/FEA, proficiency in ANSYS or Abaqus, and a solid understanding of materials behavior and structural dynamics.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in structural analysis and FEA; strong analytical skills.
• Expertise with ANSYS, Abaqus or similar FEA software.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed stress analysis and FEA on mechanical components and structures.
• Simulate static, dynamic, thermal and fatigue loading conditions.
• Interpret results and prepare concise design recommendation reports.
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve safety and performance.
• Validate models with experimental data where available.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
