Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in event management, with a significant focus on sports events.
• Experience in managing large-scale, complex sporting events from an operational perspective.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficiency with event management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic planning and operational execution of all sports events, from conception to post-event evaluation.
• Manage event logistics, including venue coordination, scheduling, staffing, transportation, and accommodation.
• Develop and implement comprehensive event security and risk management plans.
• Lead and motivate the event operations team, ensuring efficient task delegation and performance management.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including event organizers, suppliers, government agencies, and volunteers.
• Ensure all events comply with relevant safety regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
• Oversee event budgets, manage expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Drive continuous improvement in event operations through post-event analysis and implementation of best practices.
• Act as a primary point of contact for operational matters during event execution.
