You will oversee venue selection, staffing, safety, and participant experience, coordinating with authorities and federations to ensure successful events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, with a strong focus on sports events.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistical operations and large-scale events.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and project management tools.
• A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all logistical aspects of sporting events, including venue selection, layout design, and site operations.
• Manage event staffing, including recruitment, training, and deployment of volunteers and event personnel.
• Develop and implement comprehensive event security and emergency response plans.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment.
• Manage event budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Liaise with local authorities, sports federations, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth event execution.
