Placements24 is seeking a Senior Sports Data Analyst to join a fully remote global team. You will collect, clean, and analyze large sports datasets, build advanced models, and craft dashboards to drive performance and fan engagement.

You will collaborate with coaching, marketing, and operations to translate complex analytics into actionable insights, mentor junior analysts, and stay ahead of trends in sports analytics and data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field required.
• 7+ years in data analysis with a focus on sports analytics.
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL.
• Strong statistical modeling and ML knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sports-related sources.
• Develop advanced statistical models to predict performance and identify trends.
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with coaching staff to provide data-driven insights for player development.
• Work with marketing to analyze campaign effectiveness and audience behavior.
