Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Sports Data Analyst to join our analytics team. This fully remote role involves gathering, interpreting, and visualizing complex sports data to provide actionable insights for performance improvement, strategy development, and fan engagement from a home office.

The ideal candidate translates data into compelling narratives, builds dashboards, and collaborates with coaches, scouts, and management to drive data-driven decision making in sports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in sports.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from sports sources.
Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and KPIs.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize insights.
Collaborate with coaches, scouts, and management for data-driven recommendations.
Stay updated on analytics techniques and tools.
Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
