Job summary

Acme Services in Johannesburg, South Africa is seeking a Presales Consultant – Cybersecurity (Splunk) to drive security solutions across Africa. You will architect Splunk-based cybersecurity and observability architectures, deliver demos and POCs, and support SIEM and threat-detection use cases.

This role requires 4–5+ years in Splunk presales or related roles, hands-on Splunk Enterprise/ES/ITSI experience, and a Core Power User certification. Strong communication with customers is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years in Splunk Presales, Cybersecurity Presales, or Solution Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise, ES, ITSI, and Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, SOC operations and threat detection.
• Splunk Core Certified Power User (Mandatory).
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect Splunk-based cybersecurity and observability solutions.
• Conduct customer presentations, workshops, demos, and POCs.
• Support SIEM, threat detection, security monitoring, and analytics use cases.
• Deploy and integrate Splunk with enterprise environments and security platforms.
• Provide technical guidance to customers, partners, and sales teams.
• Deliver partner enablement and technical training.
