Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Splunk Solutions Engineer for South Africa. You will lead technical discovery and create architectural whiteboards to secure wins, and map Cisco-Splunk integrations to deliver unified security and observability solutions.

You will collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives, CISOs, and partners to ensure customer adoption and success, driving ACV/TCV sales while growing technical capability and demos globally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Experience configuring SIEM platforms and/or enterprise Cybersecurity/SecOps solutions.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise technical discovery and architectural whiteboarding to secure technical wins.
• Execute competitive PoVs across Splunk platforms and related security products.
• Position Cisco-Splunk integration plays to provide unified security and observability.
• Collaborate with account teams and partners to align solutions with business goals.
• Aim to achieve high technical win rate and expand cross-sell opportunities.
• Mentor newer engineers and contribute reusable demo assets.
