Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Splunk in South Africa. You will lead technical discovery, whiteboarding, and live demonstrations to showcase value and win deals. You’ll coordinate PoVs across Splunk products and align Cisco-Splunk integration plays with business goals, driving ACV/TCV growth and cross-sell opportunities.

You will collaborate with account executives, CISOs, and partners to ensure strong customer adoption and satisfaction in a hybrid, multi-cloud security environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in pre-sales or solutions architecture.
• Experience configuring SIEM platforms.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows in enterprise infra.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise technical discovery, architectural whiteboarding and live demos.
• Manage PoVs across Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, ES, ITSI and Observability.
• Position Cisco-Splunk integration plays with Security Cloud and Splunk ES.
• Collaborate with EAs, CISOs and channel partners to align solutions with business goals.
• Aim for ACV/TCV quotas and 75%+ technical win rate.
• Generate cross-sell pipeline and mentor newer engineers.
