Job summary

Greenlight Planet Inc. seeks a Solar Inverter Account Manager to oversee the Free State sales territory. You will coordinate the sales team, drive volume, and protect gross profit while expanding the customer base.

You will work with Call Centre, procurement, and marketing to execute the EasyBuy strategy and ensure timely forecasting, inventory, and stakeholder engagement across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
• Proficiency with modern statistical analysis and data visualization software.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical sales.
• Experience within the electrical and solar industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed KPI targets for volume, gross profits, costs and credit for the sales territory.
• Implement market space strategies affecting customers and contribute to global strategies.
• Collaborate with Call Centre to vet customers and complete sales process.
• Provide input into forecasting cycles with Sales Manager and procurement to ensure inventory.
• Develop and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships; build new ones.
• Address customer queries and complaints promptly related to orders, deliveries, and credit vetting.
• Grow the market in the property development sector.
• Monitor market and competitor behavior and adjust with Sales Manager and Marketing.
• Submit expense reports in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with sales, product, operations, and other teams to monitor product performance.
