Placements24 is assisting a fast-growing online retailer in recruiting a Senior Social Media Marketing Manager for a Tembisa, Gauteng hybrid role. You will lead brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth through strategic social media initiatives across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in social media management and digital marketing, deep knowledge of ads platforms and analytics tools, and a proven ROI-driven record in ecommerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in social media management and digital marketing, preferably in ecommerce.
• Proven track record of campaigns delivering engagement and ROI.
• Expertise in ads platforms (Facebook/LinkedIn) and analytics tools.
• Strong copywriting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Create and schedule engaging content across channels.
• Plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns for traffic and conversions.
• Monitor trends, competitors, and audience sentiment to identify opportunities and risks.
• Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights and reports.
• Engage with the online community and respond to comments/messages professionally.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams for brand consistency.
• Stay updated with social media best practices and tools.
