Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Engineer specializing in smart contracts to join its technology hub in Centurion. You will design, develop, and test secure on-chain logic for multiple blockchain applications, contributing to the integrity of decentralized systems.

The ideal candidate has a CS/Engineering degree, 4+ years software experience with at least 2 in blockchain, strong Solidity skills, and experience with Truffle or Hardhat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years software development experience, 2+ years blockchain.
• Proficiency in Solidity and frameworks like Truffle or Hardhat.
• Knowledge of ERC-20 and ERC-721 token standards.
• Experience with unit and integration testing for smart contracts.
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts using Solidity.
• Develop and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) that interact with smart contracts.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of smart contracts before deployment.
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency for various blockchain networks.
