Placements24 seeks a Senior Skincare Product Developer & Formulation Chemist to lead concept-to-market skincare formulations in a fully remote role. You will develop creams, serums, cleansers and treatments, ensuring safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with R&D, marketing, and regulatory teams, manage timelines from a remote setting, and stay at the forefront of cosmetic science through active research and conferences.

Qualificações

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• 7+ years of skincare formulation and product development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, their functions, and interactions within skincare formulations.
• Proven experience in developing a wide range of skincare product types.
• Familiarity with global cosmetic regulations (FDA, EU).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the formulation and development of new skincare products, including creams, serums, cleansers, and treatments.
• Research raw materials, active ingredients, and new technologies relevant to skincare.
• Develop stable, effective, and aesthetically pleasing formulations that meet target specifications.
• Oversee laboratory testing, including stability, compatibility, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges and provide innovative solutions throughout the development process.
• Collaborate closely with marketing to translate consumer insights and market trends into product concepts.
• Ensure all formulations comply with global cosmetic regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including formulation reports, specifications, and manufacturing guidelines.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively within a remote setting.
• Stay current with scientific advancements and industry best practices in skincare formulation.
