About the Role

A dynamic construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer (Civil) to manage and supervise construction activities on major infrastructure projects in and around Bloemfontein . This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of projects according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering site supervision, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and motivate site teams. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of the construction site, coordinating various trades and ensuring efficient progress. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility, offering the opportunity to contribute to important developments in the Free State .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all civil engineering aspects of construction projects on site in Bloemfontein .
• Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on site.
• Manage site logistics, including materials, equipment, and labor.
• Liaise with the project manager, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve site issues.

Requirements
