• Minimum 3 years' site supervision experience.
• Experience with earthworks, road construction, or bulk infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in site management software and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
• ECSA registration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily on-site civil construction activities (roads, earthworks, bulk services).
• Ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and QA procedures.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Enforce health and safety regulations on site.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and hands-on Civil Site Engineer to oversee infrastructure development projects in and around Bloemfontein . This role is critical for ensuring the successful execution of construction activities, maintaining quality standards, and managing site operations effectively. You will be responsible for supervising construction crews, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring that all work complies with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines. This is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills to address site challenges effectively. You will play a vital role in bringing complex civil engineering projects to fruition in the Free State province. The ideal candidate will have a practical understanding of construction methods and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily on-site construction activities for civil infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, earthworks, bulk services).
• Ensure adherence to approved construction drawings, specifications, and quality control procedures.
