Job summary

Rand Merchant Bank in Johannesburg seeks an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead service delivery, governance, and risk management for RMB’s infrastructure environments. You will oversee outsourced partners and internal teams to ensure uptime, security, and alignment with SLAs.

The role requires strong governance, contract management, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous service improvement in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ infrastructure management experience with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Relevant IT and/or business qualification is required.
• Experience in governance and contract management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Input into the service integration strategy and analytics of service portfolio.
• Analyse services for viability and redefine criteria, priorities, strategy, processes and metrics.
• Ensure SLA updates meet client expectations and monitor delivery against SLAs.
• Manage infrastructure events including vendor and contract management.
• Maintain asset registers and configuration libraries / CI’s up to date.
• Control services, components and configurations; ensure monitoring and backups.
• Create governance framework for infrastructure events and ensure compliance.
• Lead and mentor direct reports; manage performance and development.
