Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization, focusing on technical SEO and analytics.
• Proven success in driving organic traffic growth and improving search rankings.
• Expertise with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and their impact on SEO.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
• Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues affecting search rankings.
• Monitor SEO performance metrics, analyze data, and generate detailed reports on progress and insights.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure all content is optimized for search engines and target audiences.
• Work with development teams to implement technical SEO recommendations and ensure best practices are followed.
• Stay abreast of algorithm updates and SEO best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.
• Identify and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search visibility.
• Manage and optimize local SEO efforts for the George region.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior SEO team members.
