Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior SEO Strategist to lead the organic growth of a leading brand in George, Western Cape. You will design and execute data-driven SEO campaigns, optimize on-page and off-page efforts, and collaborate with content and development teams to maximize visibility.

The role requires a strong background in analytics, technical SEO, and strategic leadership to drive measurable results in a competitive market. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in SEO are expected.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in SEO.
Proven track record of growing organic traffic and improving rankings.
Experience with GA, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
HTML/CSS/JS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies to improve rankings and traffic.
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits.
Oversee on-page and off-page SEO, content optimization, link building, and site structure improvements.
Monitor SEO metrics and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing to integrate SEO.
Identify and troubleshoot technical SEO issues affecting crawl/indexing.
Mentor junior SEO team members.
