Job summary
Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Security Engineer to manage high-complexity tickets, provide expert analysis, and mentor junior staff across functions. You will support field engineers, diagnose complex issues, and act as a lead for large-scale deployments focused on securing vulnerabilities.
You will apply deep technical expertise in networking, IT security, and systems engineering, coordinate with vendors, and drive improvements through proactive problem solving and automation
Qualifications
- Advanced IT/Computing qualification or higher.
- Security-related certifications (Security+, ZScaler, CCNP, Pulse Secure, Fortinet).
- Industry ITIL knowledge is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Ensure client infrastructure is configured, installed, tested and operational.
- Monitor tools, respond to alerts, log incidents with detail.
- Assist in analyzing, assigning and escalating support calls.
- Investigate root causes for complex incidents.
- Provide onsite technical support and field engineering services.
- Lead technologies according to domain, and coordinate large deployments.
- Conduct monthly incident reviews and recommend improvements.
- Identify automation opportunities and optimize work processes.
