Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Security Consulting Engineer with deep network security expertise and strong customer-facing consulting skills. You will lead projects, sometimes mentoring junior engineers, and oversee on-site support at client premises.

The role emphasizes delivering security solutions across large networks, including ISE, NGFW/ASA, Stealthwatch, and related technologies, with travel as required and a strong client liaison focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of security experience, at least 8 in network security
• Experience troubleshooting internetworking in large-scale networks using Cisco security products
• Strong technical account liaison and customer consulting skills required
• Deep knowledge of Cisco security solutions: ISE, NGFW, Stealthwatch, ESA, ASA; routing & switching familiarity
• CCIE Security certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead project roles, possibly mentoring less experienced engineers
• Deliver subscription activities including on-site customer support
• Lead implementation of recommendations based on standard methodology
• Work with a team on-site at customer premises to support network infrastructure and represent the company
