Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to lead enterprise security deployments and drive proactive security improvements across complex environments. You will design, implement, and oversee secure solutions while guiding engineers and coordinating with client teams.

The role requires deep experience in security architecture, threat modeling, and hands-on incident resolution. It involves collaboration with global clients and leadership in security practice development.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, designing and deploying security solutions.
• Ability to communicate cybersecurity concepts to a broad audience, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership with mentorship for engineers and ability to own high-complexity design work.

Responsibilities

• Lead security solution design and deployment in complex environments.
• Collaborate with solutions architects and maintain secure operations.
• Provide fourth-level support for escalated incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor external threats and develop technology roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and document proposals and reports.
