Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Cisco Security Engineer to provide IT security and network infrastructure support across the company’s business units. You will monitor systems to keep them secure from cyber threats and to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will deploy new security technologies as required and coordinate with teams on security audits, incident response, disaster recovery, and continuous monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience with Cisco networking technologies, such as firewall and VPN configuration.
• Experience in security architecture and design with emphasis on application security, web app development, network security, OS-level administration, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Experience with Cisco Security Policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT security and network infrastructure support to business units.
• Monitor systems and networks to ensure security from cyber threats and regulatory compliance.
• Deploy new security technologies as required by the organisation.
• Plan and develop cohesive security architecture that integrates hardware, software and people.
• Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis with action plans.
• Oversee design, development, and implementation of security controls addressing vulnerabilities and compliance requirements.
