Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative across South Africa to own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

Work remotely in SA, leveraging tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo and Salesforce to craft personalized outreach, nurture leads, and maintain a clean pipeline while hitting ambitious pipeline goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
