Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive the sales pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, sourcing contacts and booking meetings with decision makers.

This role focuses on thoughtful outbound outreach using tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping every touchpoint high quality.

Qualifications

• Two years in an SDR/BDR role or similar required.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
