Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is expanding its sales team across South Africa, seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative. You will own top-of-funnel activities, researching accounts, identifying decision makers and crafting personalized outreach to open doors for our clients.

You’ll use tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to book discovery calls for the Account Executives and maintain clean CRM records. A proactive, coachable mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
