The role supports a fully remote team delivering critical infrastructure projects and requires formal Pr Eng registration with ECSA and a minimum of seven years of roads experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Transportation/Roads focus.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in roads and highway design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Infra modelling tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the detailed design of roads, highways, intersections, and associated infrastructure, including drainage and earthworks.
• Prepare comprehensive design reports, construction drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities.
• Conduct geometric design, traffic analysis, and capacity assessments for road projects.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, clients, and other disciplines (e.g., structural, environmental) in a virtual setting.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant national and provincial road design standards and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior road design engineers and technicians.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for road design elements.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in road design software and techniques.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation or Roads Engineering.
