The successful candidate will identify, quantify, and mitigate risks; develop policies and procedures; implement KRIs/KPIs; and report to senior management while collaborating with multiple departments to strengthen regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Risk Management or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, statistical modeling, and risk mitigation techniques.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II, Basel Accords) applicable to insurance companies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and quantify potential risks (financial, operational, strategic, compliance) facing the organization.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
• Design and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for risk management.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant committees.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate risk management principles into their operational processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging risks, and regulatory changes relevant to the insurance sector.
• Facilitate risk management training and awareness programs across the organization.
• Manage and maintain the organization's risk register.
