Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Remote Insurance Risk Manager to oversee and enhance the risk management framework across all insurance operations. This executive role is fully remote and supports operations linked to Upington, South Africa, with autonomy and strategic influence.

The ideal candidate will have extensive risk management experience in insurance, strong COSO knowledge, and familiarity with regulatory requirements, driving a risk-aware culture from a home office environment.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience in risk management, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of risk assessment techniques and COSO framework.
• Strong understanding of insurance operations and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide risk management program for the insurance business.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize key risks across operations, finance, strategy and compliance.
• Design and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
• Monitor effectiveness of risk management frameworks and report to senior management.
• Foster a risk-aware culture through training and communication.
